About Frankie:
Frankie Wells is a highly accomplished netball athlete with an exceptional record of success.
Frankie has represented England Netball, becoming European Champions in 2017, as well as England Indoor Nets (now EMMNA) across five international tours. She competed for their youth, mixed and ladies squads in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, earning international recognition as Tournament MVP.
Her ability to excel on the international stage reflects her outstanding talent, professionalism and commitment to the sport.
In domestic competition, Frankie has reached both top-four and semi-final positions in the Netball Superleague while representing some of the league’s most respected teams, including Surrey Storm, Saracen Mavericks (now London Mavericks) and London Pulse. As part of Loughborough Lightning, Frankie and her team made history by becoming the first-ever NXT GEN champions, securing the league title in the inaugural 2025 season.
Alongside her playing career, Frankie is a qualified coach driven by a passion for developing others to the best of their ability within an enjoyable and adaptive environment. She currently works at Headington Rye Oxford as Head of Netball and is the Lead Performance Coach for Buckinghamshire County as part of the England Netball Pathway.
Frankie brings high-level insight to players of all ages and abilities, sharing the expertise, ambition and love for netball that have defined her own journey to the top of the sport.
